This year’s summit, held on August 10, 2023, was a resounding success, thanks to your unwavering support, engagement, and dedication to empowering our youth.
Key Highlights of the 2023 Youth Summer Summit:
Empowering our Youth
With great joy, we welcomed over 54 attendees, including children, panelists, and supporters, who came together to foster empowerment, inspiration, and education among our youth.

Our esteemed panelists engaged in insightful discussions that left a lasting impact on all attendees.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to each panelist for sharing their expertise and perspectives.

Special Award
A heartfelt congratulations to Joy Hall-Bazzle, who was honored with a special award in appreciation for her outstanding contributions as a panelist for three consecutive years.
Enriching Activities
The children in attendance had an incredible time throughout the summit, participating in enriching discussions and activities.
Special dance breaks were led by none other than Travis McClendon Bey.
Travis McClendon Bey, a professional dancer and former dancer for the Houston Rockets, infused energy and excitement into the event during several dance breaks, making it an unforgettable experience for our youth.
And the free lunch provided added to the overall enjoyment of the event.

In line with our commitment to nurturing the next generation, we distributed T-shirts, backpacks, and essential school supplies to all the youth present, ensuring they are well-equipped for their educational journeys.
